Today was the second day of International Blockchain Congress where over 3000 people attended in Hyderabad. The IBC is the largest ever blockchain conference to be conducted in India. The conference was made possible owing to the vision of the government of Telangana, Goa and the Nucleus team who translated the idea behind the event into a reality.
The International Blockchain Conference was spearheaded by keynote speakers such as Tim Draper, the founder of Draper Venture Network, KT Rama Rao, the Minister of IT, CP Gurnani, the CEO of Tech Mahindra and Ian Balina an influential blockchain and cryptocurrency investors among numerous others.
Tim Draper quotes “The more honest and free the government is, the richer the population becomes.” which looks like the path India is headed on.
The conference put Telangana on the map when it comes to blockchain with the MoU having been signed by the Telangana State Information Technology, Electronics, and Communication department with Tech Mahindra. Telangana is now set to be an incubator for technology which fosters the growth of Indian blockchain startups and companies with Telangana ITE&C providing regulatory and policy support.
Today was quite exciting for the attendees, the day had amazing panel discussions and workshop. There were a few speeches which inspired people and stories that make you see the bright future Blockchain has in the world. Every operation that is run today can be given a platform to be transparent and build your trust in each other.

Panel discussion on the ‘Art of raising ICOs,’ was led by Arnab Kumar from NITI Aayog and a few people who joined him on stage were Arnav Kishore from BOLTT, Sahil Arora from zelaaCoin (who was the youngest speaker at the Congress), Raj Phani by Zaggle and a few more. The discussion showed the best outcomes from experts who have made their names in the Blockchain Industry.
Other attractions were, a workshop about getting the most out of crypto-exchanges led by Binance community manager, and discussions about the RBI’s position on crypto-trading were just a few of the exciting occurrences that took place at the International Blockchain Congress. Apart from these, a multitude of CEOs got up on stage to give their keynote speech, spreading information and knowledge about their endeavors within the blockchain space and the challenges they face.
