Elon Musk

One of the most popular social media platforms Twitter took action against accounts for engaging in ‘coordinated manipulation’ and removed two hundred and eighty-four accounts within the last week. Techmeme, a news aggregator based out of San Francisco, tweeted an article published by Techcrunch reporting this news to which the CEO of Tesla replied and mentioned how this was a great move on the part of Twitter.

The accounts that were taken down by Twitter were actively participating in propagating malicious content, and Elon Musk was quite vocal in expressing his opinion on the news and stated that the measure would “increase usage by real users.”

Elon Musk is no stranger to being the victim of attacks by accounts that act out of a sense of malice on Twitter. Back in July of 2018, Musk raised his voice about the disdain he feels against spambots on Twitter. In the past as well, he has spoken about at length about how his profile has been affected by them.
